Security
OpenMage releases include security patches to keep system secure. The following patches were included since
M1 EOL date: patches for
CVE-2021-21427,
CVE-2021-21426,
CVE-2020-26295,
CVE-2020-26285,
CVE 2020-26252,
CVE-2020-15244, APSB20-47 and
SUPEE-11346.
What about third-party modules developed for Magento 1, products, customers? Are there incompatibility issues?
All third-party extensions should work just like on Magento 1.9.4.5, there are some compatibility issues possible with the latest
OpenMage v19.4.15 and we’ll solve it during upgrade process. All products, customers, third-party extensions, menu structure, any custom grid and your local overrides will remain as is.

What will happen to all customization of my Magento 1 store?
Just like with Magento 1 upgrades, we preserve customization updating when needed with all local overrides, changes in core files and templates.
How to migrate to OpenMage LTS
The process is very similar to standard Magento 1 upgrade, i.e. like upgrade from Magento 1.8 up to 1.9.4. First, store is upgraded up to 1.9.4.5, after that we prepare upgrade patch for your store from
OpenMage Git repository and merge it with your codebase. We upgrade your store to the latest
OpenMage v19.4.15 with our regular
Magento upgrade service, simply select
OpenMage LTS as version to upgrade to.
